A game jam is a programming contest, where small groups (2-5 persons) develop games for a common theme.
We will meet at Friday afternoon on 27th June in the computer science building starting 16:30. There we will announce the theme and you can work during the weekend in the computer science building. We also provide sleeping places there.
All games will be presented and rated at a separate meeting the following week.
Previous experience with game development is not required. However, general programming experience is helpful and you should familiarize yourself with the framework you want to use (we recommend Godot or Unity). There will also be a technical guide beforehand. It is allowed to use existing software libraries or graphics, as long they cannot be considered games on their own.
